AVIASG (ASG): Baltic Ground Services UAB completes certification of Type I de-icing fluid - raport 10

Baltic Ground Services UAB successfully completed certification of a new glycerine-based Type I de-icing fluid Defrosol ADF. The utilized materials allow to offer the market a lower-priced eco-friendly alternative. Production of the fluid is expected to be launched in September 2013 with a target production volume of 400 tonnes per autumn/winter season.

Certified by North American AMIL and SMI research laboratories, the fluid also contains unique anticorrosive inhibitor package with significantly better metal corrosion protection and material compatibility in comparison to competitors’ products. Baltic Ground Services UAB will become the first ground handling provider to develop, certificate and produce Type I de-icing fluid in Europe.
